Good morning, Warrington. Mike here. This is The Warrington Scoop.

If you like knowing what’s going on without having to check ten different places, that’s pretty much the job of this email, just one tidy list of local bits worth your time (minus the crime and politics)

Grab your favourite brew, and let's start.

P.S. If you are new here, you can find a web copy of our events guide here.

If you are after a fun night out with a difference, Stev at Pasta Ferrazza runs brilliant pasta classes around Warrington, and I think you'll love it. You make everything from scratch, sit down and eat the lot, and it is a great one for a date night or a night out with friends.

His next event is Flour to Fork at Number Nine in Great Sankey on Thursday, 23rd April from 6pm to 9pm.

BYOB and just £50 per person.

Click here to book on, or check out his Facebook or Instagram here.

Here are some positive stories from around the town over the past few days.

📹 Slightly politics related (sorry), but it’s something you might want to know. The CCTV control room has been saved for at least another 12 months, with funding ringfenced to keep it running. (Warrington Guardian)

Results of Monday’s Poll 📊

On Monday, we asked you what you would like to see where Mr Smiths used to be, and the results were really interesting. I thought housing would win, but the most popular answer was a theatre or arts centre.

There were also a lot of comments on the poll, with many of you talking about something smaller than Parr Hall that would suit smaller events and upcoming bands.

Only 1 post this week (plenty planned for next week), but there was a lovely sunrise on Tuesday that I captured very early in the morning, which you might like.
