Discover Tree Climbing 🌳

In September, Arley Hall is hosting Discover Tree Climbing, and we are happily claiming it as part of Warrington (as it’s close enough, right?). On Saturday, 13 September, children and adults aged six and over can try climbing up into the canopy of some impressive trees.

Alice in The Hidden Garden Lights Trail

Alright, don’t hate me for this… I know it’s still August and we’ve barely had summer, but Bents have already gone and talked about their Christmas plans.

They’re launching Alice in the Hidden Garden, a brand-new light trail inspired by Alice in Wonderland that will involve glowing displays, magical soundscapes, and plenty of surprises along the way.

It’s happening on selected evenings this winter at Bents Garden & Home, Glazebury, and tickets are already up for grabs.

Symphonic Ibiza at Parr Hall 🎶 😎

Some of Ibiza’s biggest club anthems are getting the orchestral treatment in Warrington this November. Symphonic Ibiza brings live DJs, singers and a full orchestra to Parr Hall on Saturday 15 November for what’s being called the town’s biggest party.

Expect huge visuals, iconic dance tracks reimagined, and plenty of nostalgia for anyone who remembers their clubbing days. Tickets start at £32.50 via Parr Hall.

Warrington Food and Drink 🍽️

🎭️ Pop-Inns, the new musical theatre bar that we mentioned the other week, officially opened yesterday.

🇮🇹 Pasta Master has also officially opened in the market. This is in the corner near the Hop Emporium. Follow them here on Facebook.

🎉 Two Brothers Coffee turns 8 next Friday (29th August) and they’re celebrating with free oat milk coffees all day at their Warrington Market stall.

Warrington Wordle 🧠

Remember, every Wordle is a word that is somehow related to Warrington.

Today's is related to a building……. that’s all I can say. Once you see it, you will know why. As always, let me know how you get on as this one’s a bit tricky! 😀

Warrington Mela is Back

The Warrington Mela is back in the town centre on Sunday 31 August 2025, and it’s completely free.

This year’s theme is “Home”, with food, music, dance and performances spread across Queens Gardens and Time Square.

Here’s what to expect:

  • A colourful procession from Town Hall to Queens Gardens, led by giant puppets Dolly and Rocky.

  • Street food market with flavours from India, Korea, Turkey, Greece and more.

  • Performances including samba bands, Chinese lion dancers, martial arts, capoeira and live music.

  • Trigger’s TEABREAK show. Enjoy a proper brew while listening to the story of tea across the world.

  • Family fun with rides, games, balloons and creative workshops.
