Pick Your Own Flowers, Car Show + 26 Other Things To Do
Plus: Magic show, family fun days and artisan markets
Good morning, Warrington. Mike here. This is The Warrington Scoop.
Did you make the most of the nice weather over the weekend?
We had a great response to the feature about Dora the Dinky Cafe Boat in Friday’s newsletter. Did you manage to visit her this weekend? Let us know if you did. Looking at their social media, it looked like they had 2 sell-out days over the weekend.
In today’s Scoop:
What’s on this week 🗓️
Pick your own wild flowers 🌻
A classic car show 🚘️
Grab your favourite brew, and let's start. ☕️

Today’s Sponsor could be you! (Turn Readers Into Customers 💰)
The Scoop is delivered directly into 7700 inboxes across Warrington twice a week.
If you want to sell tickets, get more leads, or simply get noticed, this is where you should be. Ads start from £25 (full pitch deck and pricing here)

The Great British Motor Show at Arley Hall 🚘️

Arley Hall is the place to be on Sunday 31st August 2025. Gates open 10am–4pm, and you’ll be able to wander past classic cars and bikes, check out custom builds, and get up close to sports cars and supercars.
If you book ahead, tickets are £9.50 for adults, £5 for children (3–15), or £25 for a family of five. On the day it’s £12.50 for adults and £40 for families, so it’s worth getting them early. More info here.

Pick Your Own Wild Flowers at Bellefields Brew 🌸

If you head over to Bellfields Brew on Firs Lane, Appleton, you’ll find more than just great coffee and cakes. There’s a wildflower patch where you can pick your own.
You grab some snips, choose a jar (£7.50) or a large vase (£15), and fill it with as many flowers as you like. The team will wrap them up so you can take them home and enjoy them.
It’s a lovely way to spend part of your weekend with coffee, a slice of cake, and a bunch of flowers to brighten up your home. They’re open 9am–3:30pm every Saturday and Sunday.
