The Clone Roses are playing at the Parr Hall 🎸

Parr Hall is set for a big night of Manchester music on Saturday, 17 October, as The Clone Roses make their long-awaited return to the stage.
The much-loved tribute band always draws a lively crowd, and this show is shaping up to be one of their biggest yet. They’ll be joined by Oas-is and The James Experience, bringing together the sounds of three of the city’s most famous acts for a full evening of indie classics and sing-along anthems.
The night will carry a touching note too, as the band pay their respects to the late Stone Roses bassist Gary Mounfield, known to fans as Mani, who had built a friendship with the group over the years and held Parr Hall close to his heart.

The Super League season starts next week 🏉
The Wire’s opening home game against Warrington Wolves rivals St Helens R.F.C. on Friday 13 February at Halliwell Jones Stadium is close to a sell-out, with more than 13,200 seats already gone. The North Stand has almost filled up, the away terrace has sold out, and the East and South Stands only have a handful left. Get your tickets here.

Warrington Wordle 🧠
Last week’s was too easy, with many of you getting it in 1 or 2 tries. Todays isn’t exactly tough….. and most of you will get it.
We are still on the theme of street names for now (based in the town centre).

From the Scoop Socials 📱
🚌 We posted a video from the 1990s showing buses running through the town centre, which was very popular and prompted people to share their memories.
😁 Do you remember walking over this bridge from the market to the old market car park?

Thanks 👍️
