Warrington Food and Drink News 🍽️ 

🎯 Luke Littler popped into the East Orient all you can eat buffet on Wednesday.

🇹🇭 Krapow Thai Restaurant has earned a Good Food Award, marking its journey from a small independent Thai restaurant to one of Warrington’s top dining destinations.

🍕 Tomlins Bakery has launched a trial pizza menu, adding fresh slices like Pepperoni with hot honey and a gooey Five-Cheese Margherita to their lineup. Each one is baked fresh and ready to take away.

Local Business Feature - Mamars Artisan Bakery 🍞 

This is a new feature for the Scoop, but today we wanted to highlight Mamars Artisan Bakery.

Originally starting in the market around 5 years ago, they can now be found in The Hive on Sankey Street. There is a great video here of Sonia, the owner, sharing the backstory.

They sell a range of fresh bread that they bake every day (I love the Sourdough), cheeses, meats, and other produce.

There is also a dine-in area where you can sit down and enjoy a coffee and food as well.

They have a charity make-and-bake event coming up (details below), which looks set to be a great event.

The history of the Golden Gates

How many times have you driven past the golden gates and thought “they look nice” but never thought….. how come we have them? I always see people getting their photographs taken in front of them, and a friend of mine had his wedding photos taken in front of them. They are a great feature and one of the towns best landmarks.
