End of Summer Fete 🚗🎢 

Bents Garden and Home are seeing out the summer with a big family day on Friday, 20 September.

It kicks off at 11am and runs until 4pm, with a mix of classic cars, a fun fair, and a giant inflatable to keep everyone busy.

Kids will love meeting Sonic and Bluey on stage and at the meet-and-greet sessions, while the grown-ups can tuck into homemade pizza and proper fish and chips served from Bents’ Airstream trailers.

Spike Island is Full of Water Again ⛴️ 

On Monday, I featured a drone video flying over Spike Island, which got hundreds of clicks. With it being so popular, I thought it was worth an update for you all.

As you can see from the image below, showing before and after, Spike Island is now full of water again, thanks to the work of the dam being built, the locals, and the boat yard! Some boats even got out, and the people are reporting on the Facebook page that the ducks and swans are happy as well 😀 

If you would like to get involved with what’s going on at Spike Island, they have a work party taking place on the 20th of September.
