You seem to love anything food related that goes into the newsletter lately, so here’s some bits you might want to know.

To-Pie-For just bagged an award 🥧
To-Pie-For has just been named Best Bakery in Manchester & the North West by the Prestige Awards. If you’ve ever queued up for one of their amazing pies (I love the curry pies) or sausage rolls, you’ll know it’s well deserved. It’s a small team, and a Warrington business getting proper recognition.

New Asian Restaurant 🍜
In the Hive, there’s a new Asian restaurant opening soon called Bubbles Taste. I had a walk past this week and there’s a sign outside with a lot of work taking place inside.

4T’s Brewery taproom is open this weekend 🍺 🍛

Bit of a heads up if you like your beer cold and your curry hot…

4T’s Brewery is opening their taproom again next weekend – Friday 18th and Saturday 19th July, 2pm to 9pm. They’ve got some new beer releases on, and The Curry Den will be there serving samosas, rice, and three curries, along with other dishes.

Just turn up, grab a pint, and get yourself some curry.

That’s it, really. Just thought you’d want to know.

Find out more on their Facebook.

Does anyone know where this was taken? 📸

I was in the library the other day and they had some postcards with various photos on to do with “Warrington New Town”. One of which was this one below. I think it must be Sankey Valley, but I wanted to post it up to show you.

My thinking is it’s near the bridge that goes over to the hospital? Let me know via email, or forward it on to others 😀

Poll Results: Have you been to the new M&S Outlet on the Riverside Retail Park?

Based on the results, it was clear that many of you were unaware that the store had opened. Many who went said they didn’t find many bargains or found the sizes a bit funny. However, there were many positive comments about the kids’ clothes.

Thanks 👍️

Thanks for reading The Warrington Scoop today.

If you found this useful, please share it with someone who keeps driving past Fiddlers Ferry and pointing out that there are only four towers left now.

Catch you on Friday.

Mike
