🦸‍♂️ Golden Square Comic Con is back

Golden Square Comic Con is taking over from 9am to 6pm on Saturday the 19th of July, and it’s free to get in. Expect stalls full of merch, proper photo ops, and all sorts of characters walking around (some in capes, some just excited for a day out).

I had a quick scroll earlier and there are already hundreds marked as “interested” on Facebook, so it’s probably going to be packed.

Might be the best excuse yet to dust off that old Spider-Man outfit.

🏃 The Family Mile Is Back – Join the Fun This July

Get your trainers on. The Family Mile is back on Sunday 20th July at Victoria Park!

This one’s for everyone. Mums, dads, toddlers, mates, nans, the lot. Walk it, jog it, run it, or do a bit of all three. Fancy dress? Yep. Prams? Bring them. Just £5 to join in, and every single person gets a medal at the finish line.

There’ll be music, bubbles, laughs, and big cheers all the way round. It’s about getting involved, raising money for the Foundation, and having a cracking morning in the park.
