New Food Traders Opening In The Market 🇮🇹 🍗

Two new traders are moving in at the end of July, and they sound decent. Pattersons (proper fried chicken, already popular in Liverpool and Manchester) and Pasta Master (fresh pasta and Mediterranean bits) are joining the line-up.
When these open the Scoop will go and try them out for you and put a video on Instagram.

Newton Town Show 2025 😀

I know this isn’t quite Warrington, but it's just down the road and over 800 people have responded on Facebook, so as this looks to be popular, I thought it was worth mentioning.
It’s on Saturday, the 2nd of August, at Mesnes Park in Newton-le-Willows and runs from 11am to 5pm. There is loads going on all day: live music, arena shows, classic cars, fairground rides, food stalls, crafts, and charity stands.
The kids will be happy with the bouncy castles and inflatables, and there’s plenty for grown-ups too. Always a good atmosphere, and it’s all put on by the Newton and Earlestown Community Group.
Find out more on their website.

Warrington Wordle 🧠
I can see that you love the Warrington Wordle, as it’s one of the most clicked things in the newsletter every week.
Well done to those who got it right last week. I think Mary got it correct in the least amount of tries. As always, let me know how you get on.
Remember, every Wordle is a word closely related to Warrington.

We asked ChatGPT to roast Warrington neighbourhoods 🤣
This was just a bit of fun on Instagram to see what AI thought of areas in Warrington. Some were hilarious, and it got a lot of you commenting.

You’re still scrolling, aren’t you? So are 7,000 Warrington residents.
The Scoop is read by thousands of locals every week, and now we’ve got 3 advertising packages to suit all budgets.
If you want your business in front of people who actually live here (and actually care), take a look at our advertising rates and pitch deck.
We can track how many people read your ad, set up landing pages for you (if needed), and show you exactly how many clicks your ads get.

Thanks 👍️
Thanks for reading The Warrington Scoop today.
If you found this useful, please share it with someone who still calls it Burtonwood Airbase like it’s operational.
Catch you on Friday.
Mike
