🎬 A free showing of Wonka is happening at Birchwood Park on June 18 to raise awareness of motor neurone disease. There’ll be drinks, snacks, free parking, and buildings lit up later in the week for Global MND Awareness Day. More info here.
🐶 Alison and Jonathan Rutter have spent 20 years helping out at Dogs Trust Merseyside. They've supported hundreds of dogs, adopted a shy stray called Dana, and say volunteering has been one of the proudest parts of their life. Read their story.

Stockton Heath Beer and Wine Festival 🍺

Now in its 20th year, Stockton Heath’s beloved Beer & Wine Festival is back for another day of drinks, food, and family-friendly fun.
📅 Saturday 29th June at Stockton Heath Scout Centre (WA4 2AP)
The festival runs across two sessions:
👨👩👧 Afternoon (12pm–5pm)
Perfect for families – with free juice and a hot dog for every child, plus a kids' disco and entertainer. Food, snacks, and a well-stocked bar for the grown-ups too.
🎤 Evening (6pm–1am)
Strictly 18+, with live entertainment, food stalls, and plenty of drinks flowing. If you’ve got both tickets, you can stay on site in between.
Get your tickets soon, they always go quick.

🧘♀️ BeeKind Spiritual Wellness Day – Sat 14th June

Take a break from the chaos and enjoy a peaceful day of Reiki, readings, meditation and more at The Old School on Fairfield Street. Entry is just £3 and goes to charity. Perfect if you need a reset or just fancy something a bit different.
