Warrington's Worst Bike Lane? At Least The Curry's Good! 🚲️ 🔥
Plus The Biggest Live Music Guide
Good morning, Warrington. This is The Warrington Scoop.
Half-term is nearly done. Hopefully, it’s been a good one—some peace and quiet might be on the horizon. If one last activity is on the cards before school bags get packed again, there’s plenty happening this weekend.
In today's edition:
Curries Opens at Warrington Market 😋

Curries Opens at Warrington Market 😋 🍛

We stopped by Curries, a new food stall in Warrington Market, on a busy Thursday afternoon and gave it a try. The name says it all—no fuss, just good curries—and judging by the queue, plenty of people agree.
We ordered the Chicken Tikka Wrap, which had just been added to the menu as a special, along with Butter Chicken and Chicken Pakoras. The food was well-priced, very tasty, and had that authentic, homemade feel.
Check out our Instagram to see a quick video of the food, as I only took videos and forgot to take pictures (I think I was just too hungry 🤣 )
If you’re in town and looking for a nice curry, it’s worth a visit. We’ve put a video on our Instagram, so take a look.

Pointless Bike Lane? Your Views 🚲️

Does anyone else think this bike line is dangerous (and pointless), opposite the Golden Gates?
Today, a car drove down it (this is the second time I have seen this happen). It’s so wide that if people are not from the area, I can see why it happens. What makes it worse is that you can’t turn left.
What were the council thinking when they came up with this? Let us know your opinion in the poll below.
