🌸 Guided Bluebell Walks at Arley Hall – May Bank Holiday

If you’re after a peaceful way to spend a spring day, Arley Hall has just the thing.

Next month, they’re running exclusive Guided Bluebell Walks through their private Big Wood—a part of the estate that’s usually closed to the public. You’ll be led by a guide who knows the place like the back of their hand, spotting carpets of bluebells, birdsong and wildflowers along the way.

🗓️ Saturday 3rd, Sunday 4th & Monday 5th May
⏰ Walks at 11am and 2pm
🐶 Dogs welcome (on a lead)
👟 Sturdy shoes recommended
🎟️ Tickets: £23 adults / £10 children / £8 for pass holders

The walk lasts around 90 minutes and includes entry to the gardens (normally £12) and free parking (normally £3). Booking is essential. Perfect excuse to get outside and slow down for a bit.

Question Time ❓️ 

🎞️ Toy Stories in Nature – Free Exhibition at Warrington Museum

Action figures, fresh air, and a touch of Star Wars magic—local photographer Chris Rose brings toys to life in the great outdoors using nothing but natural light, real settings, and a whole lot of imagination.

His free exhibition runs at Warrington Museum from 5 April to 15 June and features scenes shot across the North West. Chris has worked with the likes of Disney, Sony, and Lego—but this show celebrates his roots and the local landscapes behind the lens. One for all ages.

It’s wall-to-wall sunshine in Warrington this week—no, you’re not dreaming.

• Sunday: ☀️ Clear skies, high of 14°C

• Tuesday: ☀️ Bright and a bit warmer, 16°C

• Wednesday: ☀️ Still going strong with sunshine, 15°C

Perfect weather for a dog walk, a pint in a beer garden, or just pretending you’re on holiday.

Sport 🏉 

⚽️ Warrington Town’s relegation from the National League North was confirmed after a 1-0 loss at Curzon Ashton, ending their stay in the division with three games left.

🏉 Warrington Wolves edged past St Helens 20-18 to reach the Challenge Cup semi-finals. A late George Williams break sealed it—next up, Leigh Leopards in the semis.
