Good morning, Warrington. Mike here. This is The Warrington Scoop, your quick 4-minute read of what’s happening around town.

Thanks for opening the Scoop today. School holidays are starting, and I’ve had a few people ask for help finding things to do. I’ve put together some ideas to keep everyone entertained.

In today’s Scoop:

  • Summer holiday guide (plenty of things 20-30 minutes away) 😎

  • From the papers 📰

  • If someone’s visiting Warrington, where are you taking them? 🤔

Grab your favourite brew, and let's start.

Play Footgolf at T1 Golf Sports Village This Summer

Sponsored by T1 Golf Sports Village

If you’re looking for something to do over the summer holidays, footgolf at T1 Golf is well worth a go. It’s just £5 per person and a good way to get the kids (and grown-ups) outside for a bit.

They also have:

  • Two brand new padel courts

  • An indoor football pitch

  • A newly opened carp fishing lake

  • A cafe serving food all day

Footgolf has been really popular. If you pop down, tell them you saw it in The Warrington Scoop.

Check them out on their website, Instagram and Facebook.

Summer Holiday Guide 😎 🗓

This could have been 10,000 words and 100 listings, but this is the Scoop, and we know you don’t have all day, so we picked out some highlights.

In the poll last week the top result was things 20/30 minutes away so I’ve covered that as well as some highlights from Warrington.

This is a mix of activities for children and adults.
