Just outside Lymm, you’ll find Statham Lodge, a Georgian manor house set within 11 acres of private grounds. It’s a popular place for weddings, events, and special occasions across the North West, with stylish rooms, a bar, and space to host everything from small gatherings to larger celebrations.
You can join them for Sunday lunch each week, enjoy afternoon tea served daily from 12–4 (£25 per person), or book the venue for weddings, parties, and private functions. Find out more on their website or Facebook. You can also email them at [email protected] or call them on 01925 752 204.

Here are some positive stories from around the town over the past few days.
🎶 Daresbury Festival is expanding for 2026, adding a third stage called The Greenhouse and increasing capacity from 6,000 to 10,000. It takes place at Walton Hall and Gardens on June 20, with Annie Mac, Roger Sanchez, and Sam Divine already announced. VIP tickets are gone, and fewer than 100 general admission tickets remain. Brewery open day at 4T’s 🍺

I've had a few emails from Scoop readers over the past few months saying how much they loved the 4T's open days, so I wanted to make sure you knew about this one.
If you haven't been before, 4T's is a proper Warrington success story. They've been brewing award-winning ales and craft beers right here in Latchford for over 15 years, and once a month they open the brewery up and turn it into a tap room for the weekend. Y
Entry is free; you just pay for your drinks. Check out their Instagram for more details.
Easter Family Fun Fair 🥳

It's not quite Warrington, but just down the road in Widnes, Victoria Park is a brilliant little park, and the Widnes Family Funfair is there from this Friday, 28th March, right through to 12th April, which could be worth checking out if you are after something to do.

Well done to everyone who got last week’s word correct, I think it was the most replies we have ever had on ANY Wordle! Remember, this word is somehow related to a place or something to do with Warrington.
