🎤 Tribute Acts & Laughs – Warrington’s Got You Covered

Plus: Mother’s Day perks, crafty workshops, and a bouncy castle bonus

Good morning, Warrington. Mike here. This is The Warrington Scoop.

Quick heads-up: the clocks go forward at 2am on Sunday, so that's one hour less of a lie-in (assuming you get one in the first place). 😅

And tell me this—has the first mow of the year happened in your garden yet? Or are you still pretending the grass is just “wildlife friendly”?

There’s plenty happening this weekend, so let’s jump in...

In today's edition:

  • Free adult tickets at Gulliver’s World this Mother’s Day weekend 🎢

  • Results from Monday’s poll (Would you move out of Warrington if you won the lottery) 📈

  • What’s on this week (events and live music) 🗓️

Grab your favourite brew, and let's start. ☕️

P.S. Hello to all the new followers who have joined us in the past few days, as there have been a lot of you with our big push for new subs really ramping up!

Free adult tickets at Gulliver’s World this Mother’s Day weekend 🎢

On both Saturday and Sunday, one adult goes free with every full-paying child – so if you’re planning a fun day out, now’s your chance.

There’ll be rides, shows, and plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Just make sure you book in advance to save a bit extra and skip the faff on the day!

Poll Results - Would You Stay In Warrington If You Won The Lottery? 🤔

In Monday’s email, we showed you the most expensive house in Warrington and then asked you if you would stay in Warrington if you won the lottery.

The results were that 56% of you said you would stay. There were a lot of comments left on the poll, some positive, some negative, and some funny, but I thought you might like to see the results. Were they as you expected?

Due to a funding gap, Activity Angels have had to cut back sessions this month—but they're still running a reduced calendar, thanks to some generous sponsors and volunteers.

Their community lead is giving her time for free to keep things going. It’s a tough spell, but they’re staying hopeful—and so are we. 💓💪 Check their page for April’s sessions.
