Warrington Music Fest 🎸

Warrington Music Fest’s Winter Showcase returns to Parr Hall for its third year, bringing a full day of live music and homegrown talent.
The event takes place on Saturday 17 January, with doors at 12pm. Tickets start at £8 and you can book through Parr Hall on 01925 442345 or at https://parrhall.culturewarrington.org/whats-on/warrington-music-festival-winter-showcase/
The lineup features 14 local acts across seven hours, giving you an early look at the artists likely to shape next summer’s main festival. Returning names include The Bemonts, Belmont and The Stocks, Olivia Booth, Freight, Isla Rico, Hollow Vandals, and The Hillocks, along with new additions such as The Raymonds, Gondolas, Billy Howard, Containers, Frayed Connection, The Locks, and Bucaria.
The Bemonts headline after a big year that included Neighbourhood Weekender and a major show in Golden Square.

Boutique Baby Sale 👶

The next preloved baby and children’s sale takes place on Sunday 23rd November at Culcheth High School, WA3 5HH, running from 11am to 12:30pm. The event brings together thousands of preloved items under one roof, including toys, clothes, books, games, prams, pregnancy and feeding equipment, knitted gifts, crafts, and more.
You don’t need a ticket. Entry is £2 on the door, and children go in free. This is a cash-only event, and while a few stall holders may accept bank transfers, most will not have card machines.

Last week’s poll results 📊
Last week, we asked you what you would like to see happen with the land where 240 flats are being built on the former DW gym area.
Here are the results. A close one between people wanting the land developed and some of you saying the roads can’t cope.
