Things to do in Warrington this week 🍂

Plus: House of the Week and a quick poll for you

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Good morning, Warrington. Mike here. This is The Warrington Scoop.

Did you get out over the weekend? Saturday was horrible, wasn’t it (even my dog didn’t want to go out, and that’s when you know it’s bad). On Sunday, we went out to the artisan market at Walton Gardens (highly recommended) and then sat by the fire in a local pub.

In today’s Scoop:

  • Our guide to what’s on this week 📆

  • House of the week 🏠️

  • What’s your ideal Warrington weekend right now? 🤔

Grab your favourite brew, and let's start. ☕️

A quick shout-out to this week’s sponsor, Function Fix, the physio team based at T1 Golf, 1 Widnes Road, Warrington WA5 2UW.

I actually went to see them myself a while back after picking up an injury, and honestly, they were brilliant. They took the time to figure out exactly what was going on and got me back on my feet faster than I expected. They really know their stuff, and I’ve since heard nothing but good things from other locals who’ve been in for treatment.

If you’re dealing with a dodgy shoulder, back pain, or anything stopping you from getting active, they’re well worth a visit. You can find them inside T1 Golf on Widnes Road (near Fiddlers Ferry).

Check out their website, and Instagram.

Correction - Oktoberfest at the Parr Hall

In Friday’s email, there was an Oktoberfest guide. However we received an email (and it did mention it at the top of the website but we missed it), that the Parr Hall event is not going ahead this year due to lack of resources.

House of the Week 🏠️

A former Victorian farmhouse turned semi-detached family home in one of Warrington’s most sought-after areas.

  • Three bedrooms | Two bathrooms | Two reception rooms

  • Beautiful kitchen with quartz worktops & integrated appliances

  • Cosy living room with wood-burning stove and French doors

  • Ground-floor main bedroom with en-suite shower

  • Boot room + utility WC for everyday practicality

  • Private driveway with parking for multiple cars

  • Rear garden with patio and shingled area

  • Freehold | Council Tax Band G | EPC Rating F

Why we like it

It keeps the charm, beams, stove, quarry tiles, but adds the good stuff: modern kitchen, two reception rooms, and field views on a quiet private road. Perfect if you want countryside calm but still need Stockton Heath and the motorway within easy reach.
