I’m really pleased to share that I’m now welcoming clients in a new space at EA Fitness in Warrington. My work focuses on helping to release stored tension in the body that can place ongoing strain on the nervous system. When the body is holding this kind of stress, it can contribute to feelings such as anxiety, persistent headaches or migraines, emotional overwhelm, physical discomfort, and long-term stress patterns.

Warrington Cycle Hub are back with their popular free e-bike rides this autumn, and I think it’s an amazing thing they are doing.

Every ride is completely free and they sort you out with the free use of a Ridgeback electric bike, a helmet, and a trained ride leader to take you on a safe, scenic route of around 15 to 20 miles.

The Thursday rides go from a different spot around the borough each week, starting this Thursday from Birchwood, while the Friday rides all set off from the Cycle Hub in town.

🥐 Did you know we have a Japanese bakery in Warrington? Well, now you do. We popped down to Momiji Bakery on Friday (we were first in the queue) as it’s somewhere we have been meaning to go for ages. This place is amazing, please go in next time you are in town. She is open Thursday to Saturday and is based upstairs in Hatters Row, but get there quick as she does sell out fast!

🍰 Talking about food, we also popped into Monia’s Cakes to speak to Mario to see how things were going over there. We put together this post on social asking people what their favourite cake is. We know what ours is, but what’s yours?

🏥 Warrington's proposed urgent treatment centre finally has a location: it'll sit within the Warrington Hospital site, right next to the same-day emergency care unit. (Warrington Guardian)

🥇 Amelia Davies from Bewsey and Alex Wain, who'd never met, were both crowned at the World Gravy Wrestling Championships in Lancashire on bank holiday Monday, battling it out in two-minute bouts in a ring filled with 1,500 litres of gravy.(Warrington Guardian)

🥫 Lymm Jubilee members have donated a brilliant 147kg of staple food and toiletries to Warrington Foodbank, collected at their September meeting to mark National Foodbank Day. (Warrington Worldwide)
