Warrington Shout Outs 📣

☕️ Toast in Latchford is now under new ownership. Emma and Chris have taken the reins and are excited to build on what made Toast so loved since it opened in the old railway building in 2021.

☕️ Coffee House has opened another Warrington coffee house on Wilderspool Causeway. If you already know them, this is a new place to stop for coffee on that side of town.

🤓 Geek Retreat Warrington is running a Pokémon Kids Club every Saturday and Sunday from 11am. It’s a chance for kids to trade cards, and meet other Pokémon fans.

Warrington Park Run Turned 12 🥳

Warrington Parkrun turned 12 years old this week, and it celebrated in proper style.

On a cold morning that could easily have kept people in bed, 739 runners (the second ever largest attendance), joggers, and walkers turned up to mark the occasion. That’s the second-highest attendance ever, which says a lot about what Parkrun has become in Warrington.

If you ever needed proof that Warrington loves showing up for things that matter, this was it.

Warrington’s Most Expensive House 🏠️

This is currently the most expensive house for sale in Warrington, and I thought you might fancy having a bit of a nosey. Set behind electric gates on Walton Road in Stockton Heath, this Grade II listed Georgian residence is a proper statement home, sitting within around 0.8 acres of private grounds and combining late-18th-century character with high-end modern updates.

At a glance:

  • Most expensive property currently for sale in Warrington

  • Grade II listed late 18th-century home on a historic estate

  • Over 5,600 sq ft of accommodation

  • Approx. 0.8-acre plot with sweeping gated driveway

  • Five main bedrooms plus dressing room and two loft rooms

  • Tom Howley bespoke kitchen with Aga

  • Four bath/shower rooms

  • Elegant drawing room, dining room and sitting room with log burner

  • Cellars and outbuildings, including gym and games room

  • Planning pending for a 1,200 sq ft two-bedroom separate property with its own gated access

Is this Warrington’s favourite pub? 🍺

We also shared a short video this week featuring what many would say is Warrington’s favourite pub, The Ferry Tavern.

It was very popular on the socials. If you’re new to Warrington, it’s definitely a pub worth checking out.
