Good morning, Warrington. This is The Warrington Scoop.

The Super League season is back, and so are the first daffodils—a sure sign that spring isn’t too far away (even if it still feels like winter most days). There's plenty happening this week, on and off the pitch, so let’s get into it…

In today's edition:

  • Super League is Back 🏉

  • What’s On This Weekend 📆

  • Live Music Lowdown 🎸

Grab your favourite brew, and let's start. ☕️

Super League Opener – Wolves Head to Huddersfield 🏉

Warrington Wolves begin their 2025 Super League campaign this Sunday, 16th February, with an away trip to Huddersfield Giants at 3:00 PM.

It’s a big first test for the Wire as they look to start the season strong. The game will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Wolves to Stop Match Programmes – But One Fan is Stepping Up 🏉

After 105 years, Warrington Wolves have confirmed they will no longer produce match programmes. While the club won’t be changing their mind, Neil Ormston is stepping up to create The Unofficial Programme, just like he did in 2021.

It’ll be a four-page digital version, inspired by the original format from 1919 to 1946, and free to download or print as a keepsake. More details will be shared soon, but it’s great to see a fan keeping the tradition alive.
