The Makers Market Returns to Warrington 🛍️

The Makers Market is back for 2025, kicking off its first Warrington event on Sunday, 9th February, at Time Square from 11am to 4pm. This family-friendly, dog-friendly event will run on the second Sunday of every month.

With 70 artisan traders, expect everything from delicious food (think brownies, loaded fries, and Jamaican patties) to handmade products like jewellery, ceramics, and candles. There’s something for everyone, including live music by Jack Hamilton, free art-making for kids, and face painting.

Check out their Facebook page for more info.

Question Time – Hidden Gems of Warrington 🤔

We’re starting a new section in The Warrington Scoop called Hidden Gems, and we need your help to make it happen.

What’s that one place (or thing) in Warrington that more people should know about? It could be:

  • A café with the best brew in town ☕

  • A quiet park perfect for a walk 🌳

  • A shop with unique finds 🛍

  • A takeaway that never disappoints 🍟

  • A pub with great atmosphere 🍺

  • A scenic walking route 🚶‍♀️

  • Or anything else that deserves a mention.

Mine is Lymm Dam. While it might not be described as a “hidden gem” to some, I’ve met loads of people who have never been. You can’t beat a Sunday morning dog walk, then walking into the village and grabbing a coffee.

Just hit reply to this email and share it with us — we’d love to feature it in a future issue.

Sam Burgess in Conversation with Eddie Hemmings 🏉

Warrington Wolves fans, here’s one to mark in the calendar. Sam Burgess will be sitting down with Eddie Hemmings in the 40/Twenty Lounge at Halliwell Jones Stadium on Wednesday, 5th February to talk about the upcoming 2025 Super League season.

Some first-team players will be there, and a curry supper is included in the ticket price. The event supports the Warrington Wolves Academy 2025 Australia Tour, so it’s all for a good cause.

  • 📅 Date: Wednesday, 5th February

  • Location: Halliwell Jones Stadium

  • 💷 Tickets: £25 – reservation essential

A great night for rugby fans and a rare chance to hear from the new Wolves boss before the season kicks off.
