Paul Sinha’s Pub Quiz Comes to Warrington
Paul Sinha, best known as one of the Chasers on ITV’s The Chase, is bringing his pub quiz to Warrington this December.
He’ll be hosting the event at St Joseph’s Parish Centre in Penketh on Sunday 7th December 2025. Doors open at noon, and the quiz starts at 12:30pm.
This is your chance to test your knowledge against one of the sharpest minds on television. Gather your team, grab a drink, and see how you measure up in what’s sure to be a fun and competitive afternoon.
Tickets are £12 per person, and there are prizes for the winning team. It’s open to all ages, but anyone under 14 will need to come with an adult.
If you’re up for the challenge, book your spot soon before it sells out.

Christmas at the Zoo
Walton Hall and Gardens is bringing some festive cheer to the Children’s Zoo this December. You can pick between Saturday 6th or Saturday 13th, with each session starting at 10:30am.
The morning begins with a 45-minute tour of the zoo, where kids can meet some of the animals. After that, there’s a craft session in the Education Centre where each child gets to decorate their own cardboard bauble to hang on the zoo’s Christmas tree.
Tickets cost £10 per child, and adults must stay with their children throughout the event.
It’s a lovely way to start the Christmas season and spend a bit of time together at one of Warrington’s favourite spots.

New Irish Bar Opening on Palmyra Square 🍺
The team behind The Harp is getting ready to open a new Irish pub in Warrington this winter. It will take over the old Arcadia Yard spot at 13 Palmyra Square.
The Harp will serve perfectly poured Guinness and bring regular live music to the town. There will be live sport on the screens and a proper Irish welcome waiting for anyone who walks through the door.
It’s the kind of place made for good company and easy nights out. You can follow @theharpbar13 on Instagram for updates and a few giveaways as opening day gets closer.

House of the Week - Historic Moore Hall Is Up for Sale

Moore Hall in the village of Moore is on the market for £1.56 million. It’s a Grade II listed home dating back to the 1600s, set beside the Bridgewater Canal with its own private moorings.
Inside, there’s more than 6,000 square feet of space, including ten bedrooms, five bathrooms, and three reception rooms. The kitchen has a double Aga, and the house still features original woodwork, fireplaces, and a sweeping staircase.
Outside, you’ll find walled gardens, a boathouse, and a carriage driveway. It’s a short drive to Stockton Heath, and homes like this don’t come up often.
Check it out on Rightmove.
