Last year’s family garden party was amazing, so it is good to see it back. This one is a free afternoon of performances, circus, acrobatics, and picnicking in Queen's Gardens.

This week we made a video about Bank House, which is on Sankey Street. This was really popular video, with a lot of you talking about what it used to be used for years ago. At the moment, it's empty, but plans are in place to turn it into a hotel. If you want to find out a bit more about the history of it, then check out this video below.
🚘 This video is really random, but that's what The Scoop is all about. There's an abandoned car in the Golden Square car park downstairs. It's been there for months. We're not sure how long, but a very long time. If you know why this is here, let us know, and check out this video.

🎸 One thing we forgot to include in Monday's newsletter is the Pasha music festival. Pasha is what was called the old townhouse years ago. You've got 33 amazing singers on throughout the day, 12 hours of live music. It looks like it'll be a great day out, and the weather also looks to be good.
🍛 There's a new Indian restaurant called Royal India that opened on Church Street yesterday, where the Eagle and Spaceman used to be. If you end up going, please let us know what it's like and we can share it with other Scoop readers.
🌺 Have you ever been to Belle Fields Brew in Appleton? Well from the 25th of July their wildflower season is back where you can go and pick your own wildflowers. You can also grab a coffee and some homemade cake on our screen. It really is a lovely place.
🍷 There's a new wine and deli bar opening in Lymm called Truffle. This is at number 5 of the Cross. They'll be serving wine, cheese boards, and organic produce. People have already said how good it is (Get down there this weekend and make the most of the weather 😎).
🍺 Bar 9 has opened in Padgate, formerly called Brewers, and it's reopening under new owners, a local family. If you get a chance this weekend, pop in and let us know what it's like.
⛪ St. Oswald's Church in Winwick needs £300,000 to repair the church. The initial target they've tried to raise is £10,000, which will help go towards the repairs. It's an amazing church and a really old building. If you have a few pounds to spare, it would be great if you could chip in and help them out.
📖 Warrington author Paul Woodage has just published his debut book, My Red Hand: The Suffering of Innocence. It's a true story exploring themes of resilience, childhood trauma and survival, and has already picked up five-star reviews on Amazon.

Here are some positive stories from around the town over the past few days.

If you've not played Warrington Wordle yet, give it a try. We had an email last week from a new reader. It was her first time playing, and she got it in one go, and she was chuffed, so give it a go and let us know how you get on (we do read every email reply).
Thanks 👍
