February has disappeared in a flash. The weekend brings the start of March, which means spring isn’t far off (or so we keep telling ourselves). If you’re making plans, here’s what’s happening around town. There really is something for everyone.

P.S. We’ve been busy on Instagram over the past week. There have been a few video restaurant reviews and some posts about the history of Warrington (the great architecture we have across town, the old central station platform entrances that people never notice, and other cool stuff).

Bark Fest is Coming – A Weekend for Dog Lovers 🐶

If you’ve got a dog (or just love them), mark your calendar for this weekend, Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd March, because Bark Fest is taking over! It’s a full weekend dedicated to our four-legged best friends, packed with demonstrations, special offers, tips, tricks, and even a dog show.

Sounds like a great excuse to get out with your pup, meet other dog lovers, and maybe even grab a few treats along the way. Who’s bringing their dog along? 🐕

Tribute Acts This Weekend – Who Needs the Real Thing? 🎤

If you fancy a night of live music but don’t want to remortgage your house for gig tickets, Warrington’s got you covered. This weekend, we’ve got some top tribute acts bringing the hits—no stadium queues, no overpriced pints, just a good time.

The project would deliver a new Strategic Rail Freight Interchange on the land between the Old Parkside road and Winwick lane from the M6 all the way up to the Liverpool / Manchester railway line.

🤣 Comedy Night Live - Eagle Sports Social Club, 7pm
Comedy Night Live is at Eagle Sports and Social Club in association with Don’t Lose Hope and More Than Men Charities with a quality line up of 3 fantastic professional comedians.

🤣 Jimeoin - Who’s Your Man? - Parr Hall, 7:30pm
Our favourite Irishman funnyman from Australia is at the very top of the stand-up comedy game – and for a superb night out.

Warrington most over the top night returns for a FOURTH year!.

Join us on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd March for our ‘pawfully’ brilliant Bark Fest, where we’ll be celebrating all things dog and puppy related.

💻️ Digital Den (Code Club in Lymm) - Lymm Youth and Community Centre, 10am
Digital Den is an exciting coding club for children aged 8-16, hosted at the Lymm Youth & Community Centre.

🎵 Golden Square Record Fair - Golden Square, 9am
We are very happy to be back in Golden Square Warrington for our monthly fair.

🚶 The Dogs Lunch - The Spread Eagle, 10am
Grab a drink to take out on a walk with the pooches (approximately 1.5 hour)

🤿 Scuba Diving Challenge - Woolston Neighbourhood Weekender, 4pm

Just Outside of Warrington

🫣 Peaky Blinders Exhibition - Arley Hall (Friday 28th February - Monday 3rd March 2025)

Iconic rooms in The Hall, as used in Peaky Blinders will be open and dressed in the style they were for filming. The Gallery will be dressed in the style of Tommy & Grace’s wedding and The Library in the style of Tommy’s Office.

There will also be 4 original costumes used in the production on display. Aunt Polly’s dress, Grace’s outfit for the races, Aunt Polly’s Black Venetian Wool Jacket & Luca Changretta’s suit.

Sport 🏉

⚽️ Warrington Town hit the road this Saturday, 1st March, for a National League North clash against Alfreton Town at 3 PM. A tough away test as the Yellows look to pick up points.

🏉 On 1st March, Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors will make history as the first-ever Super League teams to play in the U.S. 🏟️ The rivals face off at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, as part of the NRL's "Rugby League in Vegas" event, featuring top-level matches from both hemispheres.
