Good morning, Warrington. This is The Warrington Scoop. The local newsletter that’s like when someone lets you merge into traffic with a friendly wave 😊
Today’s edition is a little different. We decided to cover everything from Monday to Sunday with Easter over the next week. Friday’s edition will still have a few events, but with some food, history and trivia.
In today’s newsletter, I’ve gathered fun ideas to keep the kids busy during the first week of the Easter holidays and fun stuff for the adults as well.

Weather ⛅️
🌧️ Monday: Wet and breezy, highs of 13°C, lows of 8°C. One for the waterproofs.
🌧️ Tuesday: Showers continue, 12°C max, 6°C min. A bit grey all day.
🌧️ Wednesday: Rain sticks around. High of 12°C, low of 4°C.
🌤️ Thursday: Brighter spells break through. Drying up slightly, 13°C and chilly at 4°C.
🌧️ Friday: Showers return, high of 13°C, low of 7°C. Might need the brolly again.

Sport 🏉
⚽️ Warrington Town lost 2-1 to Brackley Town after a last-minute winner. The Yellows had taken the lead but couldn’t hold on, despite a strong performance with a depleted squad.
🏉 Warrington Wolves lost 28-16 to Hull FC at home. Despite a strong second-half push and two tries from Ashton, Hull held firm and took the points.
