The Penketh & Great Sankey Artisan Market has a new home. From Saturday 20th September, you’ll find it at the Penketh & Great Sankey Con Club on Meeting Lane.

It runs 10am–4pm with over 50 artisan stalls, street food, live music by Olly Flavell, plus free activities for kids including face painting, a family show, and a crafting workshop.

If you’ve been before, you’ll know it’s a brilliant day out, and if you haven’t, this is the perfect chance to see what it’s all about.

Warrington Running Festival 🏃 

The Warrington Running Festival is back on Sunday 21st September in Bank Park. You can pick between a 5k, 10k, half marathon, or even the juniors race.

I’ve done it twice and it was great. The crowds, the atmosphere, and the support around town all make it a brilliant day. Even if you’re not running, it’s worth heading down. The event village has food, music, and plenty going on, and the whole thing raises money for St. Rocco’s Hospice.

If you’re tempted, now’s the time to get your name down.

New Indian Restaurant in Stockton Heath 🍛 🍽️ 

A new Indian restaurant is opening in Stockton Heath. Savi Royal 101 will take over the London Road site that was once Tapas Del Mundo.

The grand opening is on Wednesday 17th September, with arrivals from 6pm and the official start at 7pm.
