Disability Awareness Day 🙂

Thousands attend this event every year, and with hundreds already interested on Facebook, this year’s looking just as busy.

It’s happening on Sunday 13th July, at Walton Gardens, and it’s free to enter. Gates open at 10am and it’s on until around 4:30pm.

There are over 250 stalls covering accessible holidays, support groups, clever gadgets, inclusive sports, and community services. There's also a silent disco, a quiet zone, live performances, interactive workshops, and a family area if you’ve got kids in tow.

It’s one of Warrington’s most welcoming events. It’s big, friendly, and full of things to see, try, or just wander round and enjoy.

Get Your Dog Featured in the Scoop 🐶

We had an idea to add a feature where we feature a dog again, now with a small section that says, "Today's scoop is brought to you by your dog,” etc., featuring a picture and their name. Just something random and fun.

On Friday, we put a poll out as to whether you were happy to see the Walton Gardens being turned into a Pesto. It was a close result, but it seems most of you are happy to see it becoming a Pesto.
